A new order will be saved in the eShop database and sent to the information system (IS…) of your supplier at the same time.

• The actual inventory is maintained by the dropshipping company only.

Steps of dropshipping implementation

1. obtain XML datafeed from your wholesaler which contains all items for insert or update in your eshop solution
2. decise what parameters of products you want to insert. Frequent parameters are name, code, description, pictures, availability, amount of item at dropshipper’s stock.
3. Define rules for parameters. Availabilities – is it necessary to define what is happen when product isn’t available at dropshipper stock.
4. decise if you want to make categories in eshop yourself or create category tree accordingly XML datafeed.
5. prepare eshop for communication with dropshipper system via XML-RPC or SOAP. This protocol must be defined in any document. The main reason is synchronization of orders and their statuses. It will be perfomed by automatical task (CRON task) at server side. An email can be sent to customer when the dropshipper ships the order.
6. testing period takes 1 to 2 weeks. During this time is necessary send a few orders to dropshipper and synchronize mutual requests.

Firstly you can see table filled with XML categories. You can assotiate XML category or XML product to eshop category. If you want to associate a product to the eshop category click on icon with plus symbol. Every products in XML category will showed to you.

1. After click to the XML category or XML product a window will popped up.
2. On this window by clicking you can set one or more eshop categories as destination for XML category or XML product choosen in the first step.
3. Click to save button after you finish. New settings will appearent after next import process.
